Honest Review- Cloud Massage Shiatsu Foot Massager
Kaitlyn Birrell
Important information
Directions
After you have plugged in your massager, adjust the bar to the position that you prefer. Put your ankles, feet or calves in the machine and switch on the power. You will start feeling a kneading movement that will alleviate the stress and tension present in your muscles. Along with the position of the massager, you can also choose your preferred mode and the intensity level of the massage. For best results, we highly recommend wearing socks during foot massages.

I saw this unit on sale during a Black Friday sale for $149 dollars, which was a steal. So, I decided to give it a try. My expectations were low because I had never heard of the brand Cloud before. I expected it to be less effective than Brookstone because Brookstone has been manufacturing all kinds of massage devices for years. I thought I would use it, and send it back if it did not massage my feet well, or if the motor died shortly after use. For $149, I did not think I had much to lose.
I was so wrong about this product and brand. I have used this device almost every night, and some times, for back to back to back sessions. The motor is able to handle it, and it massages my painful foot enough to provide me with temporary relief. It provides a deep massage on the lowest setting, so much better than the Brookstone unit. You have options to increase the intensity, and make other adjustments to customize your massage experience, which I have done when my feet are really ailing me. I have a tendency to go for the brand that has been around forever, and that has cornered the market if given an opportunity when it comes to appliances. My bias is thinking that they have figured it out through trial an error and experience. I believe that is true in a lot of cases, but every now and then, some one new comes into an established market, and they make a better product. Cloud's product was better than Brookstone in every respect, including having a more powerful motor. I cannot compare this product to other massagers because I have only used the Brookstone unit and this one. I can say this blows the Brookstone Shiatsu massager out of the water. I was very surprised in a pleasant way. The fact that it was only $149 during Amazon's Black Friday sale was just the cherry on the top. This product was worth the full asking price and has brought my injured foot so much relief over the course of a year.
Great value and I love the remote control.
After just a two days of consistent use, this foot massager has proven to be a reliable companion. The Cloud Massage device has a powerful motor that provides a deep, satisfying massage.
One of the standout features is the ability to customize the massage experience. With options to adjust intensity and target specific areas of discomfort, this foot massager caters to my ever-changing foot pain. The deep massage on the lowest setting is already fantastic, but having the flexibility to increase intensity when needed has been a game-changer, especially after a rigorous day on the golf course.
Snagging this foot massager during a Black Friday sale felt like a steal!
The Cloud Massage Shiatsu Foot Massager has proven so far to be a worthy investment for any foot pain sufferer, golfer, or not. It's a purchase I wish I had made sooner!!!
Well, a couple of months back we went to Disney and the PF was a real problem. A couple weeks back we walked Nashville and then Mammoth caves and I was hurting, so it was time to do something. One of the things that was great about my homemedics is that it was aggressive enough that nobody else wanted to use it because they said it hurt. They're right of course, but it was the pain that stretched my PF that gave me relief. So, when I read the reviews, some glowing, some crying about pain, I thought I found my next solution. I mostly have. The kneading action is not quite as aggressive as I would like it, and the open top (non clamshell) makes for substantially less pressure around the foot (particularly the top). The first day I used it, I probably went through about ten cycles of the most aggressive settings. I was a bit bruised, but it had been the better part of a year since I had proper pressure there. After a weekend rest (my massager is under my desk at work) I went back to it and frankly I can't get my feet to be sore from the massager again. No more pain, no more extreme stretching sensation. It works pretty well, and it's heavy enough it doesn't move around. I like the fact I can angle the massager so my legs are at least mostly extended. In honesty, I don't care about the vibration, and the heat feature could be no more than I light for all I care. As therapy, it's pretty good. Not bonkers where you'll take forever to get adjusted to it...just a session or two. If I were driving the bus, it would frankly run a little higher pressure and the kneading would be slightly deeper. I've only returned about two things to amazon ever, and this won't be one of them. If I thought this company or another made one more aggressive, I'd probably try it instead. It would be nice if it came with a remote, but it doesn't. Certainly not a big deal. If you're a wuss, don't order this. Save yourself the trouble and the internet of your whining about how much of a sadist the designer was. Your mom can rub your piggies while you talk about how the pool water was too warm.

First, the feet. I’ve been using the lowest setting with all four options (heat, air bags, vibration, rollers) working. I lay it flat on the floor and let it time out at 15 minutes which is plenty. The rollers work the outside and toes of your feet vigorously but don’t affect the arch, or at least not mine. I use a massager for that. The air bag compresses and releases pressure into your feet which is worth the price of admission.
For the calves/ankles, I lay it flat again on a stool in front of my couch. I had to experiment to see what position worked for me. The rollers really don’t offer much but the airbags once again are the star of the show. I’ve set this on the second lowest level and I believe this has greatly improved my circulation.
My feet are size 11.5 and I believe a bigger foot would still benefit, maybe up to 15, although I’m just guessing.
It’s fairly big and heavy, maybe the same as a small microwave oven. I choose to move it in and out of my living room for each use, but that may not be realistic for some.
As far as value, it comes with a 1 year guarantee. Being Canadian, I paid 260 plus tax delivered to my door, so even if i had to replace this after
2 years it would cost me 50 cents a day. Well worth it, although I’m hoping for far longer.
Also, apart from what I feel is a physical health benefit, there is also the stress relief I enjoy for the half hour a day I use this.
I think this is an excellent product. Thanks Miami Dolphins!
